SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION SYSTEM<\/p>\n
Bare\u00a0 steel.<\/p>\n
The substrate should be clean, dry, well degreased and free from any\u00a0 trace of corrosion or calamine. Apply 1-2 coats of EVIOX CROMOMINIO\u00a0 primer and let dry. Overcoat with 2 coats of SINTLAC finish allowing \u00a016-24 hours between coats.<\/p>\n
Bare\u00a0Wood. Apply 1-2 coats of EVIOX CROMOMINIO primer or apply \u00a02 coats direct of SINTLAC finish allowing the required\u00a0 waiting period between coats.<\/p>\n
Previously\u00a0 Painted Surfaces:<\/p>\n
– If the old paint is in bad conditions, the loose \u00a0or powdery parts should be mechanically removed. Clean\u00a0 the surface with suitable detergent material and rinse. Let dry thoroughly. Where necessary\u00a0 use SINTOFILLER to fill up and make even any surface irregularity, sand and follow up the directions as per Bare Wood desciberd above<\/p>\n
– If the old paint is in good condition \u00a0and it only needs a topcoat because it is dull or dirty but with the underneath coatings still well fixed to the substrate (with no cracks or bubbles), clean, sandpaper and apply 1-2 coats of SINTLAC finish allowing the required waiting period\u00a0 between coats.<\/p>\n
NOTE: Dilution rates and drying \u00a0times must be considered only indicative, mainly related to a temperature of 20 \u00b0 C (68\u00b0F) \u00a0and may vary according to prevailing temperature, in presence of particular weather conditions or depending on application procedures.<\/p>\n
